Refuse and recycling crews are now all in.

 Where grey bins have been missed today, we will collect up to three black bags of excess with the bin next Thursday (31/01/13) Where green bins have been missed, we will collect the bin next Thursday but excess will not be taken as we are already providing a weekly recycling service as opposed to normal fortnightly collections.

Friday 25 January

Refuse and recycling crews will be out operating with caution.  Additional resources will be deployed to assist on side streets and cul-de-sac’s with bag removal and emptying bins where it may be difficult to access with a refuse collection vehicle.  Residents are to be advised that if they do not receive a collection on Friday 25 January for any reason they are to re-present their bins and bags on Monday 28 January and/or Tuesday 29 January whereby all backlogs of collections for this day will be cleared.

Monday 28 January - Thursday 31 January 2013

Bin services will be operating as normal and additional resources will be assigned with the collection teams to clear any backlog from this weeks missed collections.  It is envisaged that all work will be recovered each day throughout the week without further disruption.
